American Idol is down to the top three! “American Idol Season 8″ finalist Allison Iraheta was was booted out of the competition! The 17-year-old high school student from Los Angeles who sang Janis Joplin’s “Cry Baby” for the rock night this week received the lowest number of votes, leaving the top 3 behind.
The remaining three finalists are:Adam Lambert, a 27-year-old theater actor originally from San Diego;Danny Gokey, a 29-year-old church music director from Milwaukee;Kris Allen, a 23-year-old college student from Conway, Ark.
The next “American Idol” will be revealed on May 20.
